The rooms at Hotel Castrum Villae felt like a cozy home away from home. They had everything I needed - central heating and air-conditioning to keep me comfortable, a satellite TV to unwind with, and a private bathroom for convenience. The free WiFi was a great addition, allowing me to stay connected and share my amazing experiences. And let's not forget the breathtaking views of nature from the balcony - absolutely stunning!

Okay, so here's the thing. I know some people like quiet, but the soundproofing in the twin room wasn't the greatest.

This hotel is excellent for the price. The rooms are quite large and the staff is fabulous. The location is also fantastic, with great hiking and natural sites nearby. The village center is just a walk away, making it convenient to explore.

Air conditionning in the room did not function well, it was really hot and unpleasant. Our room faced the back of the hotel, it was very noisy untill 3 am as there is a cafe bar located just next to the rear of the hotel. All in all it was difficult to get some sleep due to the above reasons.

I recently stayed at Castrum Villae in a peaceful, non-touristic area for my trip in Peneda Geres National Park. The location was ideal, offering stunning mountain views and easy access to hiking trails. The spacious and well-furnished rooms were clean and comfortable, and I particularly enjoyed having a bath in the room. The staff were friendly and always available to provide helpful information. The breakfast had a great selection of fresh fruit, eggs, and cereal.

I loved the amazing location of this hotel in a beautiful, mountainous town where there are many opportunities to enjoy outdoor activities like hiking and exploring. The hotel itself was clean and well-equipped with great facilities such as a parking lot, friendly staff that helped with transportation options, and breakfast that was plentiful and delicious. Moreover, the hotel's proximity to restaurants and shops made it easy to find what I needed.

As youngsters, we loved the spacious and clean rooms, the cozy lounges, and the interesting books and maps in the hotel. The staff were friendly and informative, and the location was perfect for exploring the national park. Free parking and nearby restaurants were a bonus.
